I have been watching the new Hive Fleet as ordered. It is massive but moving slowly on the same course. For the last two months it has been on a steady course for Terra. Slowly inching it’s way inward, at this speed it is estimated that Terra would have five years to prepare for the battle. This fleet moves differently from all others encountered thus far. It almost acts as if it has all the time in the universe to reach Terra.
Two days ago this Hive Fleet, now being call Kronus, turned directly towards the Eye of Terror. It is estimated that in two days time it will reach Octine Prime. This small planet is known to be inhabited by numerous Chaos warriors. The Space Wolf’s have asked permission numerous times to wipe this world clean of it’s tainted inhabitance, but have been told no. This world is far to close to the warp to risk loosing more of the Emperors children. With any luck these two enemies of the Emperor will destroy one another. I will continue to watch and relay the outcome.

She sits in a small dark room. The only light is provided by three candles which give off a black smoke while burning. She has been sitting here on her knees for hours. Praying, chanting, looking for guidance.
“My lord” she whispers “All is ready for the coming battle, But I’m confused Master. All the followers of the other gods are gone now. I have served them well, keeping my loyalty to you as secret as you ordered. Why did their followers leave Master?”
She sits in silence, staring at the smoking coming off the candles. The smoke becomes more dense, and it slowly begins to take the shape of a large cloaked figure.
“You have done well my child” A low voice thunders. “I have sent the children
of the other gods away. Where you and my followers go, they can not. Soon
a great change shall take place. The elements of that change are on the way to
this world now. The will be a great battle here soon. All here shall die, all
shall be reborn.” A fierce gust of wind blows, the smoke starts swirling and the
candles flicker. “Do not fear my child, I did not nurture you on Beil Tien only
to allow you destroyed now. I brought you through many battles, both with you
sister Banshees and through many campaign since you and your sisters have joined
the Chaos ranks. Soon you will discover why. Soon you will see why I made you my
Champion. Soon the others will see why I favored you, soon all will know of me.
Soon the universe and the Emperor shall know fear!”

Two days ago Hive Fleet Kronus reached Octine Prime. I sent a ship to survey the damage from a save distance. Octine Prime is no more. There is no evidence that the planet ever existed. The other worlds consumed by the Tyranids were left a dead planet. But those worlds were still there, Octine Prime is not. Hive Fleet Kronus is gone as well. There is no sign of the main fleet or any small branches of the fleet. There is no evidence of the fleet at all. I’m unsure what this means. I pray to the Emperor that these two vile forces have destroyed one another. But, I have an uneasy feeling that this is not the case. I will remain on Alver IV looking for signs to explain what has happened.

Valere looks down at the message she just sent. The news will not be accepted
well back on Terra. Some in her order will say that she is misreading the signs.
Others will merely say the Eye has swallowed another planet and dismiss it.
Valere can’t help but feel that there is more at work here. She is glad that she
was assigned to this small outpost now. Something tells her that in the near
future the eyes of the Imperium will all be turned here. That thought brings a
small smile to her lips.
